The Studio

Arcadia is an architectural surface studio focused on Venetian plaster and refined wall finishes.

The work is rooted not in decoration, but in proportion, material behavior, and long-term visual balance

Rather than offering a catalog of effects, Arcadia approaches each project as part of a larger architectural context — considering light, scale, surrounding materials, and how a surface will age over time.

Projects are intentionally limited in number to allow full involvement from the initial discussion through the final surface.

The goal is not visual impact alone, but confidence in the result — today and years from now.

Founder

I work with architectural surfaces rather than decorative objects.

My background in construction and interior finishes allows me to understand not only how materials look when newly applied, but how they behave over time — structurally, visually, and tactically.

Over the years, I’ve seen many projects completed correctly from a technical standpoint, yet compromised in the final result due to rushed decisions, misaligned expectations, or aesthetic uncertainty.

My role is to prevent that outcome.

I focus on Venetian plaster because it allows for refinement, adjustment, and balance until a surface feels resolved — not just finished. The difference lies in subtle texture, controlled sheen, and how the surface interacts with light and surrounding architecture.

I approach each project with restraint and intention, taking responsibility for the final aesthetic decisions so my clients can move forward with confidence rather than compromise.
